I went out with the Prophet ﷺ on Hajj. I saw him heading out to relieve himself, so I followed him with a water vessel, or perhaps a small cup, and sat down for him along the path. Whenever he went to relieve himself, he would go far away.

خرجت مع النبي ﷺ حاجا فرأيته خرج من الخلاء فاتبعته بالإداوة أو القدح فجلست له بالطريق وكان إذا أتى حاجته أبعد
Its isnad is sahih. Affan is Ibn Muslim Saffar, and Yahya bin Saeed is Qattan, and both of them are trustworthy and frequently pass through the chains. Abu Jafar Khatami is Umayr bin Yazid bin Umayr Ansari, who settled in Basra, and he is trustworthy according to them, though there is some discussion regarding part of his narration. Likewise, he is paired here with Harith bin Fudayl Ansari Khatami, who is trustworthy and whose hadith is found in Muslim.The hadith, in similar wording, was narrated by Nasai, 1/17, no. 16, in the book of purification, on withdrawing at a distance when relieving oneself, and by Ibn Majah through a similar route, 1/121, no. 336.
