Muaz bin Anas reported,

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever defends a believer from a hypocrite who is slandering him, Allah will send an angel on the Day of Resurrection to defend his flesh from the Fire of Hell. And whoever wrongs a believer with something intending to disgrace him, Allah the Exalted will detain him on the bridge over Hell until he retracts what he said."

عن سهل بن معاذ بن أنس الجهني عن أبيه

عن النبي ﷺ قال من حمى مؤمنا من منافق يعيبه بعث الله تبارك وتعالى ملكا يحمي لحمه يوم القيامة من نار جهنم ومن بغى مؤمنا بشيء يريد به شينه حبسه الله تعالى على جسر جهنم حتى يخرج مما قال
