Muaz bin Anas reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever stands guard behind the Muslims in the cause of Allah as a volunteer, not drafted by any ruler, his eyes shall not see the Fire except for the fulfillment of the oath, for Allah says, 'And there is none of you except that he will come to it' [Maryam 19:71]."

عن سهل بن معاذ عن أبيه

عن رسول الله ﷺ أنه قال من حرس من وراء المسلمين في سبيل الله تبارك وتعالى متطوعا لا يأخذه سلطان لم ير النار بعينيه إلا تحلة القسم فإن الله تبارك وتعالى يقول {وإن منكم إلا واردها}
