Muaz bin Anas reported,
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever recites a thousand verses in the cause of Allah 
will be recorded on the Day of Resurrection among the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous, and what excellent companions they are, if Allah the Exalted wills."

عن سهل بن معاذ عن أبيه
عن رسول الله ﷺ قال من قرأ ألف آية في سبيل الله تبارك وتعالى كتب يوم القيامة مع النبيين والصديقين والشهداء والصالحين وحسن أولئك رفيقا إن شاء الله تعالى

Its isnad is daif because of Rushdin, though Hakim mentioned it (872) and graded it sahih, and Dhahabi agreed with him. Munziri also cited his statement in Targhib (2/267) and remained silent about it, as if concurring with it. It is also found in Ibn Sunni (224), number 698. Since grading it hasan here, following these imams, is better than opposing them.
