I said, "Messenger of Allah, teach me a supplication that will benefit me."He said, "Say, O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my hearing, my sight, my heart, and my semen."
حدثنا وكيع قال حدثني سعد بن أوس عن بلال بن يحيى شيخ لهم
قلت يا رسول الله علمني دعاء أنتفع به قال قل اللهم إني أعوذ بك من شر سمعي وبصري وقلبي ومنيي
Its isnad is sahih. All of them are Absis except Waki, and Saad bin Aws Absi, the scribe, Abu Muhammad Kufi, is trustworthy and agreed upon. Bilal bin Yahya Absi Kufi, they declared him trustworthy, and his hadith appears with the four. Shutayr bin Shakl Absi is trustworthy according to them, and he has narrations with Muslim and others.The hadith was narrated by Abu Dawud, 2/92, number 1551, in the book of Prayer, chapter of Seeking Refuge, and by Tirmidhi, 5/523, number 3492, in the book of Supplications, chapter on what has been said about counting tasbih on the hand, where he said, hasan gharib, and by Nasai, 8/255, number 5444, in the book of Seeking Refuge, chapter of Seeking Refuge from the Evil of Hearing and Sight, and by Ibn Abu Shayba, 10/193, number 9194. Hakim graded it sahih, 1/532, and Dhahabi agreed with him.
