There is nothing that occurred during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that I have not seen, except for one thing, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to have taqlees performed for him on the day of Eid al-Fitr. Jabir explained that this referred to playful entertainment.
حدثنا أبو النضر حدثنا إسرائيل عن جابر عن عامر
ما من شيء كان على عهد رسول الله ﷺ إلا وقد رأيته إلا شيئا واحدا أن رسول الله ﷺ كان يقلس له يوم الفطر قال جابر هو اللعب
Its chain of transmission is daif, because of Jabir bin Yazid Jufi. Amir is Ibn Sharahil Shaybi, the imam, and the rest are also reliable narrators. The hadith itself is sahih, reported by Ibn Majah 1/413, no. 1302, via Abu Ishaq from Amir, and he said in Zawaid, "The chain of transmission for the hadith of Qays is sahih." It was also reported by Tabarani in al-Kabir 18/252, no. 896, and Bayhaqi 10/218, all of them from Qays bin Saad.
