He heard directly from the mouth of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, "Whoever fasts Ramadan and Shawwal, and Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, will enter Paradise."

أنه سمع من فلق في رسول الله ﷺ من صام رمضان وشوالا والأربعاء والخميس والجمعة دخل الجنة
Its chain is daif due to the unidentified narrator relating from the companions. As for Thabit bin Zayd bin Thabit bin Zayd bin Arqam, his hadith is acceptable, for Ibn Hibban confirmed his reliability, and Abu Hatim said, "I have narrated from him," while Bukhari made no comment about him. See Tarikh al-Kabir 2/163, Jarh 2/452, and Thiqat 4/94.As for Hilal bin Khabab Adawi, his reliability is confirmed by the four (compilers of the Sunan), and Ikrima bin Khalid Makhzumi is trustworthy by consensus, with his hadith found in the collections of the group (of major compilers). This hadith was narrated solely by Ahmad, and Haythami attributed it to him in 3/190, saying, "It contains someone who is not named, but the rest of its narrators are trustworthy."
