Muti, whose name had been al-As before the Messenger of Allah ﷺ renamed him Muti, said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, when he ordered the killing of that group of men in Mecca, say, 'Mecca shall never be raided in war after this year, and no man of Quraysh shall ever be executed in cold blood after this year.'"
Its isnad is sahih. Yaqub is Ibn Ibrahim bin Saad bin Ibrahim, who is trustworthy, as is his father. Ibn Ishaq is Muhammad, the author of the Maghazi. In [Print T] it appears as Abu Ishaq, which is an error.
