Khalid bin Usayd bin Abu As reported,

He said, they had a slave called Tahman, or Zakwan, and his grandfather freed half of him. The slave came to the Prophet ﷺ, and the Prophet ﷺ said, "You are free in proportion to the part of you that has been freed, and you remain a slave in proportion to the part still enslaved." He continued to serve his master until he died.Abdul-Razzaq said, Muamar, meaning Ibn Hawshab, was a righteous man.

حدثني إسماعيل بن أمية عن أبيه عن جده

قال كان لهم غلام يقال له طهمان أو ذكوان فأعتق جده نصفه فجاء العبد إلى النبي ﷺ فقال النبي ﷺ تعتق في عتقك وترق في رقك قال وكان يخدم سيده حتى مات قال عبد الرزاق وكان معمر يعني ابن حوشب رجلا صالحا
