He prayed with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he would not complete the takbir, meaning when he lowered himself and when he raised himself.
حدثنا روح بن عبادة حدثنا شعبة حدثنا الحسن بن عمران رجل كان بواسط قال سمعت
أنه صلى مع رسول الله ﷺ فكان لا يتم التكبير يعني إذا خفض وإذا رفع
Its chain is daif. Hasan bin Imran was not corroborated on this hadith. Rather, Tayalisi and Bukhari explicitly stated that this is not sound, and they both narrated an opposing report from Abdul-Rahman bin Abza. We might grade another hadith from this Hasan bin Imran as hasan if it does not contradict anything, but this hadith was recorded by Tayalisi (181, no. 1287), Abu Dawud (1/222, no. 837), and Tahawi in Sharh Maani (1/220), and Bukhari mentioned in Tarikh (2/300) that this is among the objectionable narrations of Hasan bin Imran.
