A man from the tribe of Banu Udhrah died during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and was buried at night. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then forbade burying a man at night before the funeral prayer had been performed over him, unless people were compelled to do so.
حدثنا عفان حدثنا المبارك حدثني نصر بن راشد عمن حدثه
توفي رجل على عهد رسول الله ﷺ من بني عذرة فقبر ليلا فنهى رسول الله ﷺ أن يقبر الرجل ليلا حتى يصلى عليه إلا أن يضطروا إلى ذلك
