Amir bin Saad related to Umar bin Abdul-Aziz, while he was governor of Medina, that Saad said, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever eats seven Ajwah dates from between the two lava plains of Medina in the morning will not be harmed by anything that day until evening."Fulayh said, "I think he also said, 'And if he eats them in the evening, nothing will harm him until morning.'"Umar said, "Amir, be careful what you narrate from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."Amir replied, "By Allah, I have not lied about Saad, nor did Saad lie about the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."

حدث عامر بن سعد عمر بن عبد العزيز وهو أمير على المدينة أن سعدا قال قال رسول الله ﷺ من أكل سبع تمرات عجوة ما بين لابتي المدينة حين يصبح لم يضره يومه ذلك شيء حتى يمسي قال فليح وأظنه قد قال وإن أكلها حين يمسي لم يضره شيء حتى يصبح قال فقال عمر يا عامر انظر ما تحدث عن رسول الله ﷺ فقال عامر والله ما كذبت على سعد وما كذب سعد على رسول الله ﷺ
