Jabir bin Abdullah reported,

We intended to sell our houses and move closer to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ for the sake of the prayer. I mentioned that to the Prophet ﷺ, and he said, addressing a man from the Ansar, "So-and-so, stay in your homes, for your footsteps are recorded."

أردنا أن نبيع دورنا ونتحول قريبا من رسول الله ﷺ من أجل الصلاة قال فذكرت ذلك للنبي ﷺ فقال يا فلان لرجل من الأنصار دياركم فإنها تكتب آثاركم
