I walked with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to the home of a woman from the Ansar, and she slaughtered a sheep for us.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A man from the people of Paradise is about to enter."Abu Bakr came in.Then he said, "A man from the people of Paradise is about to enter."Umar came in.Then he said, "A man from the people of Paradise is about to enter," and added, "O Allah, if You will, let it be Ali."Then Ali came in.We were brought food and we ate, then we got up for the noon prayer without any of us performing ablution. Afterwards we were brought the remainder of the food, then we got up for the afternoon prayer, and not one of us had touched water.
حدثنا أبو سعيد حدثنا زائدة عن عبد الله بن محمد بن عقيل
مشيت مع رسول الله ﷺ إلى امرأة من الأنصار فذبحت لنا شاة فقال رسول الله ﷺ ليدخلن رجل من أهل الجنة فدخل أبو بكر فقال ليدخلن رجل من أهل الجنة فدخل عمر فقال ليدخلن رجل من أهل الجنة فقال اللهم إن شئت فاجعله عليا فدخل علي ثم أتينا بطعام فأكلنا فقمنا إلى صلاة الظهر ولم يتوضأ أحد منا ثم أتينا ببقية الطعام ثم قمنا إلى العصر وما مس أحد منا ماء
Its isnad is hasan, like the one before it, and the hadith occurred previously at 15005.
