Jabir bin Abdullah reported,

We came along with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ from Hudaybiyah until we halted at as-Suqya. Muaz bin Jabal said, "Who will fetch water for us in our waterskins?"Jabir said, I set out with a group of the Ansar until we reached the water at al-Athayah, the distance between the two places being about twenty-three miles. We filled our waterskins, and after the time of isha had passed, suddenly there was a man whose camel was pulling him toward the watering trough. He said, "Let it drink." It turned out to be the Prophet ﷺ. So I let his camel drink, then I took hold of its reins and made it kneel. He stood and prayed isha, with Jabir, as he mentioned, beside him. Then after it he prayed thirteen prostrations.

حدثنا يزيد حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد أن شرحبيل بن سعد أخبره

عن جابر بن عبد الله قال

أقبلنا مع رسول الله ﷺ من الحديبية حتى نزلنا السقيا فقال معاذ بن جبل من يسقينا في أسقيتنا قال جابر فخرجت في فئة من الأنصار حتى أتينا الماء الذي بالأثاية وبينهما قريب من ثلاثة وعشرين ميلا فسقينا في أسقيتنا حتى إذا كان بعد عتمة إذا رجل ينازعه بعيره إلى الحوض فقال أورد فإذا هو النبي ﷺ فأورد ثم أخذت بزمام ناقته فأنختها فقام فصلى العتمة وجابر فيما ذكر إلى جنبه ثم صلى بعدها ثلاث عشرة سجدة
