I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, "Which people face the most severe trials?"He replied, "The prophets, then those who most resemble them, then those who most resemble them. A person is tested according to his level of faith. If his faith is weak, he is tested accordingly, and if his faith is strong, he is tested accordingly. Trials continue to befall a person until he walks upon the earth with no sin upon him."
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر حدثنا شعبة عن عاصم بن بهدلة قال سمعت مصعب بن سعد يحدث
سألت رسول الله ﷺ أي الناس أشد بلاء فقال الأنبياء ثم الأمثل فالأمثل فيبتلى الرجل على حسب دينه فإن كان رقيق الدين ابتلي على حسب ذاك وإن كان صلب الدين ابتلي على حسب ذاك قال فما تزال البلايا بالرجل حتى يمشي في الأرض وما عليه خطيئة
