The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded us to lock the doors, tie up the waterskins, extinguish the lamps, and gather in our livestock until the darkness of early night had passed. He forbade us from eating with the left hand, walking with only one sandal on, wrapping ourselves in the Samma manner, and sitting with the knees drawn up while wrapped in a single garment.

أمرنا رسول الله ﷺ أن نغلق الأبواب وأن نوكئ الأسقية وأن نطفئ المصابيح وأن نكف فواشينا حتى تذهب فحمة العشاء ونهانا أن يأكل الرجل بشماله وأن يمشي في النعل الواحدة وعن الصماء والاحتباء في ثوب واحد
