Saad bin Abu Waqqas reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I marvel at Allah's decree for the believer. If good befalls him, he praises his Lord and gives thanks, and if a misfortune strikes him, he praises his Lord and bears it with patience. The believer is rewarded for everything, even for the morsel he raises to his wife's mouth."

حدثنا عبد الرحمن وعبد الرزاق المعنى قالا أنبأنا سفيان عن أبي إسحاق عن العيزار بن حريث

عن عمر بن سعد عن أبيه قال

قال رسول الله ﷺ عجبت من قضاء الله عز وجل للمؤمن إن أصابه خير حمد ربه وشكر وإن أصابته مصيبة حمد ربه وصبر المؤمن يؤجر في كل شيء حتى في اللقمة يرفعها إلى في امرأته
