Jabir bin Abdullah reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A man from the people of Paradise will appear before you from beneath this wall."Then Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, appeared, and we congratulated him for what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had said.After a brief pause, he said, "A man from the people of Paradise will appear before you from beneath this wall."Then Umar appeared, and we congratulated him for what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had said.Then he said, "A man from the people of Paradise will appear before you from beneath this wall. O Allah, if You will, make him Ali," repeating it three times.Then Ali appeared.

عن جابر قال

قال رسول الله ﷺ يطلع عليكم من تحت هذا السور رجل من أهل الجنة قال فطلع عليهم أبو بكر رضوان الله عليه فهنأناه بما قال رسول الله ﷺ ثم لبث هنيهة ثم قال يطلع عليكم من تحت هذا السور رجل من أهل الجنة قال فطلع عمر قال فهنأناه بما قال رسول الله ﷺ قال ثم قال يطلع عليكم من تحت هذا السور رجل من أهل الجنة اللهم إن شئت جعلته عليا ثلاث مرات فطلع علي رضي الله عنه
