During one of his journeys, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw a crowd gathered around a man. He asked about him, and the people replied, "He is a man exhausted by fasting."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "It is not righteousness to fast while traveling."

أن رسول الله ﷺ في بعض أسفاره رأى ناسا مجتمعين على رجل فسأل رسول الله ﷺ فقالوا رجل جهده الصيام فقال رسول الله ﷺ ليس البر الصيام في السفر
