I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say regarding the plague, "The one who flees from it is like one who flees from the battlefield, and the one who endures it patiently will have the reward of a martyr."
حدثنا أبو سلمة أنبأنا بكر بن مضر عن عمرو بن جابر الحضرمي أنه سمع
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول في الطاعون الفار منه كالفار يوم الزحف ومن صبر فيه كان له أجر شهيد
