The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Goodness and reward are tied to the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection, and their owners are aided through them. So wipe their forelocks, pray for blessings upon them, and put collars on them, but do not collar them with bowstrings."Ali said, "And do not collar them with bowstrings."
حدثنا إبراهيم بن إسحاق وعلي بن إسحاق قالا حدثنا ابن المبارك عن عتبة وقال علي أنبأنا عتبة بن أبي حكيم حدثني حصين بن حرملة عن أبي مصبح
قال رسول الله ﷺ الخيل معقود في نواصيها الخير والنيل إلى يوم القيامة وأهلها معانون عليها فامسحوا بنواصيها وادعوا لها بالبركة وقلدوها ولا تقلدوها بالأوتار وقال علي ولا تقلدوها الأوتار
