Bahzi, the mother of Malik, used to send a leather flask of clarified butter as a gift to the Prophet ﷺ. One day, while her sons were asking her for something to eat with their bread and she had nothing, she went to the flask in which she used to send the clarified butter to the Prophet ﷺ and found butter inside it. It continued to provide her sons with food until she squeezed it out.She then came to the Prophet ﷺ, and he asked, "Did you squeeze it out?"She replied, "Yes."He said, "If you had left it, it would have continued to provide for you."

عن البهزية أم مالك كانت تهدي في عكة لها سمنا للنبي ﷺ فبينما بنوها يسألونها عن إدام وليس عندها شيء فعمدت إلى نحيها التي كانت تهدي فيه السمن إلى النبي ﷺ فوجدت فيه سمنا فما زال يقيم لها إدام بنيها حتى عصرته فأتت النبي ﷺ فقال أعصرتيه فقالت نعم قال لو تركتيه ما زال ذلك مقيما
