I heard the Prophet ﷺ say, "The best charity is what is given out of surplus wealth. Begin with those you are responsible for, and the upper hand is better than the lower hand."

سمعت النبي ﷺ يقول أفضل الصدقة صدقة عن ظهر غنى وابدأ بمن تعول واليد العليا خير من اليد السفلى
