The Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ complained to him of thirst. He called for a large bowl, into which a small amount of water was poured. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ placed his hand in it and said, "Drink." So the people drank. The narrator said, "I could see springs gushing forth from between the fingers of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."

Its isnad is sahih, despite some discussion regarding Sayar bin Hatim Anazi and Jafar bin Sulayman Dubai. As for Jad bin Dinar Yashkuri, Abu Uthman, he is trustworthy. The hadith is found in Darimi 1/27, no. 28, in the introduction, on what Allah honored the Prophet with ﷺ.
