The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A time will surely come upon Medina when people will set out from it to distant lands seeking ease of living. They will find such ease, then return and move their families away to those places of comfort. Yet Medina would have been better for them, if only they knew."
حدثنا حسن حدثنا ابن لهيعة حدثنا أبو الزبير أخبرني
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال ليأتين على المدينة زمان ينطلق الناس فيها إلى الآفاق يلتمسون الرخاء فيجدون رخاء ثم يأتون فيتحملون بأهليهم إلى الرخاء والمدينة خير لهم لو كانوا يعلمون
