Jabir bin Abdullah reported,

He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Its people will surely abandon it while its dates are still ripe."They asked, "Who then will eat them, Messenger of Allah?"He replied, "The birds and the wild beasts."

أخبرني جابر

أنه سمع رسول الله ﷺ يقول ليتركنها أهلها مرطبة قالوا فمن يأكلها يا رسول الله قال عافية الطير والسباع
