Its isnad is daif. Isam bin Khalid Hadrami Himsi is a tabii, trustworthy, one of the teachers of Ahmad and Bukhari. Abu Bakr bin Abdullah bin Abu Maryam is daif, as mentioned before at 113, Ahmad said, "He is nothing." Rashid bin Saad Muqrai Himyari Himsi is a trustworthy tabii, Mufaddal Ghalabi said, "He is among the most reliable people of Syria." In Maraseel by Ibn Abu Hatim, 22, Abu Zura said, "Rashid bin Saad from Saad bin Abu Waqqas is a mursal narration," and this is not unlikely, for Rashid is early, he was present at Siffin and lost his eye there, as mentioned in Kabir by Bukhari, 2/1/266-267. Siffin took place in the year 37, and Saad died in the year 55. Muqrai is with the meem either with damma or fatha, a designation attributed to Muqra, a town in Yemen close to Sanaa. In kh it says, "from Rashid bin Saad bin Abu Waqqas from Saad," which is an error we have corrected from k and h. How far apart are Himyari and Saad bin Abu Waqqas Qurashi!This hadith was narrated by Abu Dawud, 4:221, through the route of Safwan bin Amr from Shurayh bin Ubayd from Saad bin Abu Waqqas, and it is also disconnected, for Shurayh bin Ubayd never met Saad.
