A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ asking for food, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave him a wasq of barley. The man, his wife, and their servant kept eating from it until they measured it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Had you not measured it, you would have continued eating from it, and it would have lasted for you."
حدثنا حسن حدثنا ابن لهيعة حدثنا أبو الزبير
جاء رجل إلى رسول الله ﷺ يستطعمه فأطعمه رسول الله ﷺ وسق شعير فما زال الرجل يأكل منه هو وامرأته ووصيف لهم حتى كالوه فقال رسول الله ﷺ لو لم تكيلوه لأكلتم منه ولقام لكم
Its isnad is hasan. It is found in Muslim, 4/1784, number 2281, in the Book of Virtues, the miracles of the Prophet ﷺ, narrated from Jabir, through a route other than Ibn Lahia, so he is corroborated here and in everything I have graded hasan for him.
