The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had withdrawn from his wives for a month, then he came out to us on the twenty-ninth day. We said, "Today is only the twenty-ninth."He replied, "The month is this," and he clapped his hands three times, holding back one finger on the last clap.Yunus said, "one finger."
حدثنا حجين ويونس قالا حدثنا ليث بن سعد عن أبي الزبير
كان رسول الله ﷺ اعتزل نساءه شهرا فخرج إلينا في تسع وعشرين فقلنا إنما اليوم تسع وعشرون فقال إنما الشهر وصفق بيديه ثلاث مرات وحبس إصبعا واحدا في الآخرة وقال يونس أصبعا واحدة
