He was asked about the points where pilgrims enter the state of ihram, and he said, "I heard," then he paused. I think he meant the Prophet ﷺ who said, "The point of ihram for the people of Madinah is Dhul Hulayfah, and by the other route it is al-Juhfah. The point of ihram for the people of Iraq is Dhat Irq. The point of ihram for the people of Najd is Qarn. And the point of ihram for the people of Yemen is Yalamlam."

يسأل عن المهل فقال سمعت ثم انتهى أراه يريد النبي ﷺ يقول مهل أهل المدينة من ذي الحليفة والطريق الأخرى الجحفة ومهل أهل العراق من ذات عرق ومهل أهل نجد من قرن ومهل أهل اليمن من يلملم
Its isnad is sahih. It is found in Muslim in the book of Hajj, chapter 18, on the times for Hajj, and in Ibn Majah, no. 2915, in the book of rites, on the times for the people of distant lands, and in Bayhaqi, 5/27.
