The sacrificial camels that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ slaughtered numbered one hundred. He slaughtered sixty-three of them with his own hand, and Ali slaughtered the remaining ones. The Prophet ﷺ then ordered that a piece be taken from each camel and placed in a pot, after which the two of them drank from its broth.
حدثنا محمد بن ميمون حدثني جعفر عن أبيه
أن البدن التي نحر رسول الله ﷺ كانت مائة بدنة نحر بيده ثلاثا وستين ونحر علي ما غبر وأمر النبي ﷺ من كل بدنة ببضعة فجعلت في قدر ثم شربا من مرقها
