The Prophet ﷺ visited a man from the Ansar, and with him was a companion of his. He greeted the man with peace, and the Prophet ﷺ said to him, "If you have water that has been kept overnight in a waterskin, bring it. Otherwise, we will drink directly from the source."The man was at the time channeling water in a garden. He replied, "I have water that has been kept overnight."He then took them both to the trellised shelter, poured some water into a cup, and milked a domestic animal into it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ drank, and then the man who had come with him drank.
