My maternal aunt was divorced and wanted to go out to harvest her date palms, but a man rebuked her for going out. So she came to the Prophet ﷺ, who said, "Yes, go out and harvest your palms, for perhaps you will give in charity or do some good."
حدثنا عبد الرزاق أخبرنا ابن جريج أخبرني أبو الزبير أنه سمع
طلقت خالتي فأرادت أن تجد نخلها فزجرها رجل أن تخرج فأتت النبي ﷺ فقال بلى فجدي نخلك فإنك عسى أن تصدقي أو تفعلي معروفا
Its isnad is sahih, and it is found in Muslim 2/1121, no. 1483, in the Book of Divorce, chapter on the divorced woman with an irrevocable divorce leaving her home, and in Ibn Majah 2034, in the Book of Divorce, chapter on whether a woman may leave her home during her waiting period.
