Jabir reported that he prayed the prayer of fear with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He mentioned that the enemy was positioned between them and the qiblah. We formed two rows behind him. He said the takbir and we all said it with him. Then he bowed and we all bowed with him. When he raised his head from bowing, he prostrated, and the row immediately behind him prostrated with him, while the rear row remained standing facing the enemy. When he stood up and the row behind him stood with him, the rear row went down into prostration. Then the rear row moved forward and the front row moved back. He bowed and we all bowed with him. Then he prostrated, and the row immediately behind him prostrated with him. When that row had prostrated and sat up, the rear row went down into prostration. Then he gave the salam and we all gave the salam together.Jabir said, "Just as these guards of yours do with their commanders."
حدثنا يحيى عن عبد الملك حدثني عطاء
أنه صلى مع رسول الله ﷺ صلاة الخوف وذكر أن العدو كانوا بينه وبين القبلة وإنا صففنا خلفه صفين فكبر وكبرنا معه جميعا ثم ركع وركعنا معه جميعا فلما رفع رأسه من الركوع سجد وسجد معه الصف الذي يليه وقام الصف المؤخر في نحر العدو فلما قام وقام معه الصف الذي يليه انحدر الصف المؤخر بالسجود ثم تقدم الصف المؤخر وتأخر الصف المقدم فركع وركعنا معه جميعا ثم سجد وسجد معه الصف الذي يليه فلما سجد الصف الذي يليه وجلس انحدر الصف المؤخر بالسجود ثم سلم وسلمنا جميعا قال جابر كما يفعل حرسكم هؤلاء بأمرائهم
