Numan bin Qawqal came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Messenger of Allah, what do you think if I treat as lawful what is lawful, treat as forbidden what is forbidden, and pray the obligatory prayers," — and Ibn Numayr added in his version, "and add nothing beyond that," — "will I enter Paradise?"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "Yes."
حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش وابن نمير أخبرنا الأعمش عن أبي سفيان
أتى النبي ﷺ النعمان بن قوقل فقال يا رسول الله أرأيت إن حللت الحلال وحرمت الحرام وصليت المكتوبات وقال ابن نمير في حديثه ولم أزد على ذلك أأدخل الجنة فقال له رسول الله ﷺ نعم
