Fever sought permission to enter upon the Prophet ﷺ.He asked, "Who is this?"She replied, "Umm Mildam."He directed her to go to the people of Quba, and they suffered from her what only Allah knows. They came to him and complained about it.He said, "Whichever you prefer. If you wish, I will pray to Allah to remove it from you, and if you wish, it can be a means of purification for you."They asked, "Messenger of Allah, would you really do that?"He answered, "Yes."They said, "Then leave it."
Its isnad is sahih. Haythami said in 2/305, "The men of Ahmad are the men of the Sahih," and he attributed it to Abu Yaala as well, but I did not find it in his work.
