He told me, saying, the situation grew severe on the Day of the Trench, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Is there a man who will bring us news of Banu Qurayzah?" Zubayr set out and brought back their news. Then the situation grew severe again, and he mentioned this three times. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said, "Every prophet has a disciple, and Ibn Zubayr is my disciple."

لحدثني قال اشتد الأمر يوم الخندق فقال رسول الله ﷺ ألا رجل يأتينا بخبر بني قريظة فانطلق الزبير فجاء بخبرهم ثم اشتد الأمر أيضا فذكر ثلاث مرات فقال رسول الله ﷺ إن لكل نبي حواريا وابن الزبير حواري
