The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would deliver sermons to us, reminding us of the Days of Allah, until we could see the gravity of it on his face, as though he were a warner to a people about to be struck by disaster the next morning. Whenever he had recently been visited by Jibreel, he would not smile or laugh until that state lifted from him.
