The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever has a partner in a property or palm grove may not sell his share until he informs his partner. If the partner agrees, he may take it, and if he is unwilling, he may leave it."

قال رسول الله ﷺ من كان له شريك في ربعة أو نخل فليس له أن يبيع حتى يؤذن شريكه فإن رضي أخذه وإن كره تركه
