I fell ill, so the Prophet ﷺ came to visit me along with Abu Bakr, both walking on foot. I had lost consciousness and could not speak to him. He performed ablution and poured the water over me, and I came to.I said, "Messenger of Allah, what should I do about my property, since I have only sisters?"Then the verse of inheritance was revealed, "They ask you for a ruling. Say, Allah gives you a ruling concerning kalalah" [Nisa 4:176], referring to one who has no child but has sisters, "If a man dies, leaving no child, but he has a sister" [Nisa 4:176].
حدثنا سفيان عن ابن المنكدر أنه سمع
مرضت فأتاني النبي ﷺ يعودني هو وأبو بكر ماشيين وقد أغمي علي فلم أكلمه فتوضأ فصبه علي فأفقت فقلت يا رسول الله كيف أصنع في مالي ولي أخوات قال فنزلت آية الميراث {يستفتونك قل الله يفتيكم في الكلالة} كان ليس له ولد وله أخوات {إن امرؤ هلك ليس له ولد وله أخت}
