My father was brought on the day of Uhud and placed before the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, covered with a cloth. I kept trying to uncover his face, but my people prevented me. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ heard a woman weeping, and once he said, "the voice of a wailing woman."He asked, "Who is this?"They answered, "the daughter of Amr," or, "the sister of Amr."He said, "Why are you weeping?" or he said, "Are you weeping? The angels have not ceased to shade him with their wings until he was lifted up."
حدثنا سفيان عن ابن المنكدر أنه سمع
جيء بأبي يوم أحد فوضع بين يدي رسول الله ﷺ وهو مسجى فجعلت أريد أن أكشف عن وجهه وينهاني قومي فسمع باكية وقال مرة صوت صائحة قال فقال من هذا فقالوا ابنة عمرو أو أخت عمرو قال فلم تبكين أو قال أتبكين فما زالت الملائكة تظله بأجنحتها حتى رفعت
