Jabir bin Abdullah reported,

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever has land should cultivate it. If he is unable to cultivate it or finds it too difficult, he should grant it to his Muslim brother and not lease it out."

عن النبي ﷺ أنه قال من كانت له أرض فليزرعها فإن لم يستطع أن يزرعها أو عجز عنها فليمنحها أخاه المسلم ولا يؤاجرها
