A drink would be prepared for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in a waterskin, and when no waterskin was available, it would be prepared for him in a stone vessel.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade the use of gourds, hollowed-out date stumps, green earthenware jars, and vessels coated with pitch.

كان رسول الله ﷺ ينتبذ له في سقاء فإذا لم يكن له سقاء نبذ له في تور من برام قال ونهى رسول الله ﷺ عن الدباء والنقير والجر والمزفت
Its isnad is sahih. It is found in Nasai 8/306, no. 5637, in the Book of Drinks, chapter on the prohibition of nabidh made in gourds, and Ibn Majah 3404, in the Book of Drinks, chapter on the prohibition of nabidh made in vessels. His saying "a tur of biram" means a small vessel made of pottery or carved from stone.
