Suraqa bin Malik asked, "Messenger of Allah, what is the purpose of our deeds? Are they in something already decreed, or in something we are now beginning?"He replied, "Rather, they are in something already decreed."Suraqa said, "Then what is the point of working?"He answered, "Work, for everyone is made easy for what he was created."
حدثنا هشيم أخبرنا علي بن زيد عن محمد بن المنكدر
أن سراقة بن مالك قال يا رسول الله فيم العمل أفي شيء قد فرغ منه أو في شيء نستأنفه فقال بل في شيء قد فرغ منه قال ففيم العمل إذا قال اعملوا فكل ميسر لما خلق له
