On the day of the Battle of the Confederates, Umar bin Abu Salama and I were placed with the women. I looked and saw Zubayr on his horse, riding back and forth toward Banu Qurayza two or three times. When he returned, I said, "Father, I saw you riding back and forth."He asked, "Did you really see me, my son?"I replied, "Yes."He said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had asked, 'Who will go to Banu Qurayza and bring me news of them?' So I set out, and when I returned, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ combined both his parents for me, saying, 'May my father and mother be ransomed for you.'"
