I heard him say that the Prophet ﷺ stood up on the day of Eid al-Fitr and began with the prayer before the sermon. He then delivered the sermon to the people. When the Prophet of Allah ﷺ finished, he descended and went to the women, reminding them, while leaning on the hand of Bilal. Bilal had spread out his garment, and the women were tossing their charity into it. One woman would toss in her ring, and they were tossing things in.Ibn Bakr said, "Her ring."
Its isnad is sahih. Muhammad bin Abdul-Rahman bin Thawban Amiri is a trustworthy, excellent narrator, as previously mentioned. The prohibition against branding animals on the face is forbidden. This has also been narrated by Bukhari in Adab al-Mufrad 74, number 175, and Muslim 3/1673, number 2117, "Allah has cursed whoever brands it." Also by Abu Dawud, 2564, in the Book of Jihad, on the prohibition of branding on the face. Likewise Tirmidhi, 1710, in the Book of Jihad, on the prohibition of inciting animals against one another. Also Abdul-Razzaq, 8451, Abu Yaala, 2148, Ibn Khuzayma, 2551, Ibn Hibban, 2626, in Ihsan, and Hakim, 4/290.
