The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked, "Have you gotten married?"I said, "Yes."He asked, "A virgin or a previously married woman?"I replied, "No, rather a previously married woman. I have sisters and aunts, and I disliked the idea of bringing in among them another inexperienced young girl like them."He said, "Then why not a virgin you could play with?"He then asked, "Do you have decorated cloth coverings?"I said, "Messenger of Allah, where would we get such things?"He said, "Indeed, you will have decorated cloth coverings."So today I say to my wife, "Take these coverings of yours away from me," and she replies, "Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ not say that you would have decorated cloth coverings?" So I leave her be.
