The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Among the signs of the Hour..." Hammam said that sometimes he would say instead, "The Hour will not come..." Hammam said, "I heard him say both,""...until knowledge is taken away, ignorance becomes widespread, wine is drunk openly, fornication spreads, men become few and women become many, until there is only one man to look after fifty women."
حدثنا بهز حدثنا همام قال أخبرنا قتادة
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال إن من أشراط الساعة قال همام وربما قال لا تقوم الساعة قال همام كلاهما قد سمعت حتى يرفع العلم ويظهر الجهل وتشرب الخمر ويظهر الزنا ويقل الرجال ويكثر النساء حتى يكون لخمسين امرأة القيم الواحد
