Umar bin Khattab reported,

He said to Abdul-Rahman, Talha, Zubayr, and Saad, "I adjure you by Allah, by whom the heavens and the earth stand," and Sufyan once said, "by whose permission they stand, do you know that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'We are not inherited from. What we leave behind is charity'?"They replied, "By Allah, yes."

حدثنا سفيان عن عمرو عن الزهري عن مالك بن أوس سمعت

عمر رضي الله عنه يقول

لعبد الرحمن وطلحة والزبير وسعد نشدتكم بالله الذي تقوم به السماء والأرض وقال سفيان مرة الذي بإذنه تقوم أعلمتم أن رسول الله ﷺ قال إنا لا نورث ما تركنا صدقة قال قالوا اللهم نعم
